Norfolk, NE - Norfolk Public Schools has initiated a search for a superintendent firm. School officials said. “We are seeking a firm to help identify a visionary leader committed to ensuring high-quality education for every student.”

The district has engaged with multiple search firms, including the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) and McPherson & Jacobson. At the upcoming school board meeting on August 25, NASB will present their qualifications at 12:30 p.m., followed by McPherson & Jacobson at 1:30 p.m., with each firm allocated 20 minutes for their presentation.

A decision is slated for the school board meeting on September 8, where a vote will determine the chosen firm. The public is encouraged to participate in this pivotal process, ensuring community voices are heard in the selection of the next superintendent.
