LINCOLN, Neb. — The Elm Creek girls are one win away from making it to the state title game for the second time in school history.

The Buffaloes defeated Diller-Odell 60-44 at the Bob Devaney Center on Wednesday night to advance to the D-1 semifinals.

Kendal Cavenee scored a game-high 27 for Elm Creek while Ashley Bauer and Chelsea Kottich each added 10.

Myleigh Weers paced the Griffins with 21 points in the defeat.

Elm Creek will face Southwest or Cedar Catholic at the Devaney Center in the semifinals on Friday at 10:45 a.m.
