CRETE, NEB. - The Doane Tigers fell to Graceland 49-11 on Saturday afternoon, to kick off the 2024 campaign and news head coach Jonathon Johnson's tenure. 

Doane scored one touchdown on the day, a seven yard scamper by freshman quarterback Sam Hartman, and capped it off with a two-point conversion by Cade Wiseman. 

For the Yellow Jackets, wideout Gerald Monroe had a record setting day, breaking the NAIA record for single game recieving yards with 387 and five touchdowns. 

Doane welcomes Briar Cliff next Saturday.
