WAVERLY, Neb. — Waverly took down a top-three foe to round out the regular season on Thursday night.

The sixth-ranked Lady Vikings defeated No. 3 Beatrice 49-42, to remain undefeated at home.

Parker Christiansen led Waverly in scoring with 16, while Peyton Tritz also hit double-digits with 11.

Beatrice's Addie Hatcliff scored a game-high 17 in the defeat.
