DEWITT, Neb. - The ninth-ranked Freeman Falcons are 10-1 after a 39-35 win over Tri County on Saturday night. 

Freeman never trailed in the contest and had 10 different players enter the score book, being led in scoring by Dakota Haner with seven. 

Tri County committed a costly 22 turnovers in the loss, while Freeman gave the ball away 13 times. Trojan senior Ella Clark led all scorers with 14.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 10-1, while Tri County falls to 5-7 with the loss. 

Both teams turn their attention to the historic MUDECAS Tournament, starting Monday, in Beatrice.
