LINCOLN, Neb. - Pender High School is the only school in the country that boasts the Pendragons as its nickname. But what is a Pendragon?

As Lou Siefker reports, a Pendragon is a chief leader among the ancient British chiefs or maybe the father of King Arthur. The exact definition of the word is up for debate, but Pender High students think they know the answer. A Pendragon is a state championship winning basketball team.
