NORFOLK - The Norfolk girls basketball team reversed their fortunes in the second half, dominating the final two quarters in a 56-40 win over Grand Island.

The Panthers trailed 25-21 at the half, but outscored the Islanders after the break 35-15, helped in no small part by an impressive 16-for-22 shooting performance at the free throw line over the final two quarters.

Norfolk also out-rebounded GI 40-24, with over half of Norfolk's boards coming on the offensive side.

Tasha Eisenhauer finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the Panthers in the win, while Cameryn Skiff and Emerson Waldow each added nine.

The Islanders were led by senior Hailey Kenkel's eight points in the loss.
