The Regional West Foundation has received a much needed donation from Riverstone Bank to help them move forward with plans to purchase a Varian Edge linear accelerator.

The Varian Edge linear accelerator is used in the treatment of a broad range of cancers; including head, neck, breast, esophageal, liver, prostate, rectum, lung, bone and skin. It also treats tumors in the brain and on the spine.

"Regional West Foundation is honored that Riverstone Bank chose to make this generous donation toward the Varian Edge linear accelerator project," Regional West Foundation Chair John Massey said.
