LINCOLN - The Norfolk Catholic Knights added an 11th trophy to the case Tuesday with a 23-0 blanking of Cedar Catholic in the Class C-2 championship.

Things started with a bang for the Knights, as Shaun Clinch forced a fumble on the opening kickoff, and Norfolk Catholic pounced on the pumpkin at the Trojan 14. Cedar's defense held, forcing a Max Hammond 29-yard field goal.

From there, it was all Knights, as they doubled up the Trojans in both time of possession and yardage. Karter Kerkman, Kanyon Talton and Brandon Kollars all chipped in touchdowns, with Norfolk Catholic building a 16-0 halftime lead and continuing their defensive stymieing in the 2nd half, with a late Max Hammond interception sealing the deal.

Norfolk Catholic finishes the season as undefeated champions at 13-0, while Cedar Catholic ends the year at 9-4.
