LINCOLN - Millard West picked up their fifth win of the season thanks to a huge game from Jackson Williams and his quarterback Brody Peterson.

Lincoln Southwest led at half 10-6 thanks to a John Hohl field goal and a touchdown run from Cal Newell. The last laugh of the first half would go to the Wildcats as Jackson Williams hauled in a 20-yard touchdown pass his first of three. The PAT was no good.

Williams and Peterson would connect on a 39-yard touchdown to start the third quarter to give Millard West their first lead, but Cal Newell would do it again with two more second half scores. He'd end his night wiht over 200 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

With their backs against the wall, Millard West faced a 4th and 7 from their own 31 and would convert... convert for a 69-yard touchdown from Peterson to Williams.

Millard West would hold thanks to a pass deflection by Brady Brau. Williams ended his night with three touchdowns on seven receptions for 122 yards. Millard West improves to 5-3, Southwest falls to 6-2.
