LINCOLN, NE — #2 Bellevue West used a 23-5 effort in the third quarter to come from behind and beat #6 Creighton Prep ____ in the Class A semifinals.

The win puts the T-Birds in the state title game against #1 Millard North on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. This will be the third straight season in which Bellevue West and Millard North are squaring off for the Class A championship.

The Jr. Jays grabbed the momentum early in the game and built a six-point lead after the first quarter. A barrage of Prep threes help them keep a 32-37 advantage at half.

The game flow shifted immediately in the second half. The T-Birds turned over the Jays and turned the game into a track meet. They raced out to a 13-point lead by the end of the third quarter and pushed to the finish in the fourth.
