LINCOLN - After falling just short in 2020, Archbishop Bergan finished business this season.

Bergan jumped out on top of Norfolk Catholic in the first quarter and never looked back, going on to win...to win the Class C2 State Title

Our only opponent this year was truly ourselves," Bergan Head Coach Seth Mruz shared. "We knew we had talent, but every single coach will tell you, you need to be talented, you need to be lucky, and you need to be healthy."

Koa McIntyre ended his high school career on a high note, completing 9 of 11 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns.

"We finished the fight," McIntyre said. "Last year we came up short. It haunted us. It was horrible pain in our hearts. We had to finish the fight this year."

After finishing runner up last season, the Knights bring home the program's second state title in program history.
