LPD: Man arrested for alleged sexual assault of a child
The Lincoln Police Department says they were contacted by a school counselor who said an 11-year-old student reported being sexually assaulted.
LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln man is facing charges after reportedly sexually assaulting a child.
The Lincoln Police Department says they were contacted by a school counselor who said an 11-year-old student reported being sexually assaulted.
Investigators say they learned that the child had been reportedly sexually assaulted several times by 45-year-old Tony Dao around two years ago.
Dao was arrested Tuesday morning. He is now facing first-degree sexual assault of a child and felony child abuse charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
