Two high school baseball players from Columbus High School signed their letters of intent to play at the next level. Taden Bell signed with NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina and Cody Zrust signed with Division II Washburn University. Bell, who will now be making the long move to South Carolina, said the CCU program feels like family.

"I like Nebraska but I like warm weather as well. When I went down there, really liked the place. Knew I wanted to get away from home and I felt like it was the right fit for me," said Bell.

Zrust, who is now going to be moving to Kansas for Washburn University, wanted to stay closer to home.

"I decided to play closer to home due to family. My stepdad, he ended up having leukemia within the past year, so I wanted to stay closer to him and hang out with him more and come back and see family as much as possible," added Zrust.

With Bell and Zrust signing yesterday, they joined many athletes around the country signing to go to their respective schools.
