Car-deer accident injures one on county road
One person is recovering after chain reaction accident after their car hit a deer in northeast Nebraska.

STANTON, Neb. -- One person is recovering after chain reaction accident after their car hit a deer in northeast Nebraska.
The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened Monday night, just after 7 p.m., around eight miles southwest of Stanton.
A 20-year-old hit and killed the deer on 565th Avenue. After the collision, the car then lost control, went into a ditch and hit a tree.
The SUV is considered a total loss.
The driver was taken to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk for treatment of their injuries.
