OPD: Man helps woman fix car, cuts her during altercation

Police say an Omaha woman was cut by someone who stopped to help her with a broken down car.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Police say an Omaha woman was cut by someone who stopped to help her with a broken down car.

Omaha Police say the reported victim's car broke down in the area of Interstate 680 and 72nd Street on Thursday afternoon. The woman said two people stopped to help her.

While trying to fix the vehicle, an altercation allegedly occurred. During the fight, the woman was cut.

The 32-year-old suspect, Tommy Ivory, was located and booked into Douglas County Corrections on charges of second-degree domestic assault, use of a weapon, and tampering with evidence.
