A State Senator from northeast Nebraska is staying home in Norfolk during the final days of the legislature's special session.
Mike Flood, of Norfolk, tested positive for COVID-19. Flood confirmed the positive test on Wednesday. The news comes during the same week that Secretary of State Robert Evnen also tested positive.
Flood, who said he is fully vaccinated, will not be present for the final days of discussion regarding congressional and legislative redistricting.
Flood is the founder and owner of News Channel Nebraska.
