One injured in Thursday morning Filley crash

FILLEY - One person is injured after a Thursday morning accident in Filley.
At around 7:40 Thursday morning, the Gage County Sheriff's Office, Beatrice Fire and Rescue, and Filley Rural Fire were dispatched to the intersection of US Hwy. 146 and 14 Road in Filley, about 15 miles east of Beatrice.
A crash investigation showed a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup heading north had stopped at a stop sign, but failed to yield, colliding with a 2013 Ford Fusion. The driver of the pickup was Nathan Archer of Filley and the Ford was driven by Hannah Cook of Hebron. Cook suffered cuts and bruises and was treated at the scene. Archer was not injured, but was cited for failing to yield right of way.
Seat belts were in use and alcohol was not considered to be a factor, but both vehicles left the scene damaged.
