Severe thunderstorm watch for northeast Nebraska

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch that will be in effect until 9 p.m. 

This watch is in effect for nine northeast Nebraska counties: Antelope, Boone, Cedar, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Platte, Stanton, Wayne. 

This watch includes the cities: Albion, Bloomfield, Coleridge, Columbus, Creighton, Crofton, Elgin, Hartington, Laurel, Neligh, Niobrara, Norfolk, Osmond, Pierce, Plainview, Randolph, St. Edward, Stanton, Verdigre, Wausa, and Wayne.
