Strivrins announces she's coming back to Husker volleyball team
After being reported prematurely by multiple media outlets and social media accounts, Lauren Stivrins made it official Friday: She's coming back to Nebraska.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lauren Stivrins is coming back to the Nebraska volleyball team this season.
The news had been reported by multiple media outlets numerous times, without Stivrins' confirmation, but the announcement became official Friday when the All-American middle blocker shared the news on Twitter with a video.
Nebraska's first match is August 27th. The Big Ten season begins on September 2nd.
Stivrins has been recovering from offseason back surgery and hasn't been able to do much training with the Huskers. She will be using the extra year of eligibility allowed for players due to the NCAA's pandemic exception for the recently completed season.
Stivrins is the 13th player in program history to be named an All-American at least three times.
