NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk man who was reportedly walking naked was arrested on drug charges Wednesday night.

Norfolk Police were called to the 100 block of East Benjamin Avenue shortly after 7:00 p.m. for reports of a man walking naked in the area.

When officers arrived, they located the man, at that point in time dressed in only blue jeans. The 39-year-old man was homeless and having difficulty communicating with officers, according to Norfolk Police.

Officers recovered a glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine. The man was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance. He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
