Recent Homestead Days Celebration drew over 26,000

BEATRICE – Homestead Days organizers in Beatrice are estimating 26,800 people attended some part of the celebration this year, which concluded this past Sunday. The Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce released attendance figures Thursday, on various events held during the annual celebration.
The downtown Saturday parade drew an estimated 14,000 attendees. The Homestead National Historical Park estimated just over 1,000 people attended events at the National Park.
Two other larger attendance events included the Jayhusker Swap Meet, 2,500….and the Car Show, 2,000….both at Chautauqua Park.
