BAYARD - The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Morrill County.

Troop E Captain Kurt Von Minden tells News Channel Nebraska the state patrol was asked by the Morrill County Sheriff's office to investigate a shooting involving law enforcement in Bayard Tuesday morning. 

Von Minden says a press conference is scheduled for later Tuesday in Bridgeport.
