(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State volleyball coach Laurie Felderman recently announced that Michelle Beer (Salem, Neb.) signed her national letter of intent to join the Bobcat volleyball program this fall.
 
Michelle, daughter of Deena and Mike Beer, was a 2020 graduate from Falls City High School. After graduating, she attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan., and is transferring to become a Bobcat this fall.

The 5'9 middle hitter was a four-year starter and team captain for the Tigers at Falls City. She had 569 career kills with 284 of those being from her senior year, 417 digs, 97 total blocks, and 87 aces.
 
Beer plans on majoring in psychology here at Peru State. In addition to athletic scholarship, Beer will receive the Transfer Presidents Scholarship Award.
 
Felderman commented, "We are looking forward to working with Michelle this fall!  She had a standout career at Falls City High School and we are excited to see her grow through our program!"
