Peru State's new women's basketball coach, Ian Holleran, recently announced that Lexie Jones (St. Joseph, Mo.) signed her national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State's new women's basketball coach, Ian Holleran, recently announced that Lexie Jones (St. Joseph, Mo.) signed her national letter of intent to join the Bobcats this fall.
Jones graduated from Riverside High School in Wathena, Kansas, and is daughter of Trisha Smith.
Lexie Jones signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Peru State. In the photo were Charles Jones, Lexie, and Trisha Smith in the front row. In back is Peru State graduate assistant Joshua Kruzel.
The 5'6 point/shooting guard, averaged 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game her senior year. She played in 63 total games in her varsity career.
Jones plans to major in accounting at Peru State. On top of her athletics scholarship, Lexie was offered the Dean's Scholarship.
