SCOTTSBLUFF, NE — Football players from across the western half of Nebraska traveled to Scottsbluff to face off in the West Nebraska All-Star Football Game. 

East won the contest 35-6 behind the tandem of Southern Valley teammates Carter Bose and Clayton Berry. The two combined for 2 passing touchdowns while Bose ran for a third. 

Leyton's Zac Henke caught the only score of the night for the West squad from Scottsbluff's Brett Hill. 

The East has won 2 out of the last 3 West Nebraska All-Star Football Games. The game was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. East leads the all time series 25-17-1. 

38 schools were represented on the rosters. The West team was coached by Mike Lecher and John McLain of Chadron, Chase County's Dan Lanners and Garden County's Chad Dormann. The East squad was led by Jayce Dueland of Elm Creek, Matt Berry from McCook, Jake Harvey of Lexington and Alma's Brendan Johnsen.
