Norfolk man arrested after allegedly pushing woman off bed, punching her

NORFOLK, Neb. -- An arrest has been made after a domestic disturbance late Thursday night.
Norfolk Police were called to an apartment in the 1900 block of Parker Circle for a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers had contact with a 22-year-old female. She explained that 44-year-old Corey Julius, of Norfolk, had assaulted her in the evening.
She said Julius had shoved her off the bed twice and onto the floor, injuring her back. She also stated that she had been struck in the face twice by Julius.
Norfolk Police said she had bruising and swelling consistent with her account of the incident.
After officers questioned Julius, he was placed under arrest for third-degree domestic assault.
He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
