UDA's summer camps were established nationwide featuring private coaching that allows every team a one-on-one relationship with the UDA staff. While the emphasis on team growth and improvement is always a constant at UDA camps, the staff also seeks to make the camp fun and productive.

Roddy noted the process was very competitive and noted the following that he had to do I order to be selected. He noted, "I had to send in a video filled with different things. I had to demonstrate my technical skills: leaps, jumps, turns, acrobatics. In addition, I had to learn and perform a routine highlighting jazz, pom, and hip hop skills. Also, I had to video myself teaching a certain technical skill so they could see how well I can communicate with a group of dancers and finally I had to record myself teaching a dance combo."

Once Roddy completes training in Phoenix, he will be hired by different high school and collegiate dance programs across the country to come and work with their teams for a three-day camp. He has nine routines that he was required to learn and the teams pick any three routines that they want to be taught at their camp. I will also lead the teams in team building exercises and technique building.
