TORRINGTON, Wyo. (KNEP) - The Eastern Wyoming College men’s golf team gearing up for a trip to the NJCAA National Golf Tournament in Lubbock, Texas.

The Lancers secured that spot last weekend thanks to their Region IX title clinching win at the Central Wyoming Invite.

EWC will now set their eyes on competing against the nation’s top golf teams starting on Monday May 10 and running through May 13.

Eastern Wyoming will be led by Utah native Brendan Thomas who claimed the district individual title this season.

Tim Van Stiphout (Hasselt, Belgium), Russel Sprecher (Casper, WY), Tomas Kubata (Prague, Czech Republic), and Johannes Lindstrom (Falkoping, Sweden) round out the five golfers heading to nationals representing Eastern Wyoming College.
