Norfolk woman arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk woman was arrested on drug charges this weekend after a traffic stop.

57-year-old Diane M. Pospisil was pulled over for an alleged stop-sign violation shortly before 1:00 p.m.

According to the Norfolk Police press release, the officer made contact with the driver, Pospisil, and later searched her vehicle. During the search, officers located a green and silver pipe with burnt marijuana residue in it and a broken clear glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Pospisil was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. She was house in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
