April coronavirus vaccine clinics set, in Saline, Gage Counties

Phase 1B group....ages 50 to 64 will be the focus

BEATRICE – April coronavirus vaccine clinics have been scheduled in the Public Health Solutions Health District. 

The clinics are for persons ages 50 to 64, including those with high-risk health conditions.  One of the clinics will be held at the Saline County Fairgrounds at Crete’s Tuxedo Park, April 1st, from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

A second clinic for the same age group will be held at the Gage County Fairgrounds in west Beatrice, April 6th from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. 

Also eligible for the vaccine in the Phase 1B group are those in child care, food processing, grocery, transportation and funeral homes. 

Persons are asked to register at vaccinate.ne.gov.   No appointment is needed at the April vaccination clinics. 

The latest figures from Public Health Solutions show the number of positive coronavirus tests declining, but a combination of increases and declines across five counties in the virus positivity rate.
