Three people dead in Kearney house fire

KEARNEY, Neb. -- Three people are dead after a house fire in Kearney.

The Kearney Police Department says the fire started Thursday afternoon near 33rd and Avenue I.

Firefighters found a woman and two children in the home. Authorities say all three were taken to a local hospital and died from their injuries.

The names of those involved have not been released. The fire remains under investigation.
