SIDNEY - Sidney High School will host a Prom for students for the first time in two years.

Principal Chris Arent announced Thursday this year's dance will be held on April 24 at the high school.

The school will not host a Prom Dinner. Students chose to support businesses and restaurants in the community instead, according to a survey sent out in January.

There will be a Post Prom after the dance and the school is looking for volunteers to help with the celebration. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact Arent at the high school.

The 2020 Prom was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
