Schuyler's Carly Johnson Signs to Golf for Peru State

Johnson, a senior at Schuyler Central High School, is the daughter of Sherri Johnson and Lance Johnson

(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State golf coach Sue Owen recently announced the signing of Carly Johnson of Schuyler as a member of the Bobcat golf team starting in the fall of 2021.
 
Johnson, a senior at Schuyler Central High School, is the daughter of Sherri Johnson and Lance Johnson. She has been coached by Shanda Hall.
 
The two-year letter winner for the Warriors, Johnson led her team while medaling in three meets during the season. Her best 18-hole total of the season was a 96. She served the Schuyler team as their captain this past season.

Johnson earned all-conference recognition this past fall and also was named to the academic all-state list twice. She is the co-president of the student council and is also a member of the National Honor Society.
 
While at Peru State, Johnson intends on majoring in pre-physical therapy. In addition to her golf scholarship, Johnson will be receiving an academic scholarship as well.
