Portion of I-80 in panhandle closed after accident
POTTER, NE – A portion of Interstate 80 in the panhandle is closed Friday. According to the Nebraska DOT, I-80 westbound between Exit 48 east of Potter and Dix (Exit 29) is closed due to an accident.

POTTER, NE – A portion of Interstate 80 in the panhandle is closed Friday.
According to the Nebraska DOT, I-80 westbound between Exit 48 east of Potter and Dix (Exit 29) is closed due to an accident. The eastbound lanes remain open.
Drivers are asked to use Highway 30 as a detour until the Interstate reopens. Nebraska 511 lists Highway 30 in that area as completely covered in snow. Use caution while traveling.
