LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Board of Education is asking the community to help the school district name three new schools.

Anyone in the community interested in suggesting names for any of the schools can do so through the LPS website until February 28th. All submissions will be passed on to three committees of community citizens, and names will then be recommended and submitted to the Lincoln Board of Education.

LPS will open a new high school and elementary school in the fall of 2022, and an additional high school will open in the fall of 2023.
