Two months, two Nebraska Lottery paydays for Columbus man
Donald Bernt won $1,000 in December before winning another $30K in January.

COLUMBUS, Neb. -- It may not have been lightning, but rare luck struck Donald Bernt twice in the past month.
The Columbus man won $1,000 in December playing the Frosty Fun scratch-off game from the Nebraska Lottery. He then topped that by winning $30,000 playing Jollier Jackpot, a different Nebraska Lottery scratch-off game.
Bernt says he plans to use the money to buy himself a new car.
