Police investigating shooting at Omaha Motel 6
Police were called to the motel located near 109th and J Streets shortly before 4:30 a.m. Monday.

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha police are investigating a Monday morning shooting at Motel 6 as a homicide.
Police were called to the motel located near 109th and J Streets shortly before 4:30 a.m.
Police located a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound in the hallway of the motel. The man was taken to CUMC-Bergan Mercy Hospital where he died from his injuries.
One person was arrested in connection with the shooting, according police on the scene. WOWT in Omaha reports that the suspect was apprehended at Bucky's gas station off 108th and L Streets.
The investigation is ongoing.
