Nebraska is facing a high risk of kids in foster care aging out of the system.

AdoptUSKids began a campaign last month to address this. You can find the new, emotional ads here.

AdoptUSKids' National Director Bob Herne said many of the kids who age-out are unemployed, homeless, or imprisoned.

So, he's hoping Nebraska will increase foster support.

Herne points to the Casey Family Program stats: it shows the price of incarcerating a youth outweighs the price to allow them to stay in foster care until age 21.

The last year has seen adoption become more accessible though, as zoom introductions and online training became common.
