OGALLALA - Coming off their first loss of the season the Ogallala Indians bounced back in impressive fashion Friday night, defeating Cozad 77-41.

Ogallala lost its first game of the season to Bridgeport on Thursday and was held to just 41 points. It was a much different story on Friday, as the Indians 77 points were the third most points the team has scored this season.

The Indians lead from start to finish, and scored at least 17 points in all four quarters. Cozad was able to hit five threes and scored double digits in all but one quarter, but the Ogallala offense was too much for the Haymakers.

Dayo Kennedy lead the way with 13 points for Ogallala, and Corbin Murphy and Jeron Gager each added 11. Jacob Weatherly paced the Haymakers with 16 points, and Jacob Engel scored 12 in the loss.

The Indians will look to start another winning streak on Tuesday when they take on Scottsbluff, while Cozad hopes to snap a four game losing streak against North Platte St. Patrick's on Saturday.
