SIDNEY, NE — Several panhandle grocery stores are partnering with the Nebraska Strong Recovery Project to spread holiday cheer to first responders. 

The frontline heroes snack drive will accept donations of boxed or individually wrapped snacks, canned or bottled drinks and appreciation notes and cards. 

Residents will find donation boxes at participating grocers.

Donations will be collected weekly and delivered to first responders and health care workers.
