SIDNEY, NE — Two Sidney people are in jail after Sidney Police, the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office and the Western Intelligence Narcotic Group (WING) Taskforce collaborated on a drug bust earlier this week.

34-year-old Thomas Clark and 27-year-old Brittany Swanson both face charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana over one pound, No Drug Tax Stamp and Negligent Child Abuse. All are felonies.

According to an affidavit, members of all three agencies exercised a search warrant at a home on Jackson Street in Sidney on Monday.

Court records say authorities found multiple large glass containers filled with marijuana in the residence. Police also say they found THC wax manufacturing tools at the home.

Swanson and Clark, who were both home when the search warrant was executed were placed under arrest. According to the affidavit, there were also two young children under the age of two in the home. Both are now in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Swanson and Clark are lodged in Cheyenne County Jail. They were arraigned this week. Swanson's preliminary hearing has been set for December 28th. Clark's is set for the 30th.
