It's been just over two weeks since it started, but the rush to visit Santa at the fire museum in Columbus has been nonstop.

The breezy chill outside nor COVID could keep parents and their kids from meeting up with Mr. Claus in a revamped event that puts safety at the forefront.

The fire hall provided a protective visor and some sanitizer for Mr. Claus, who stays behind the couch for added safety.

Columbus Chamber of Commerce Community Director Sandie Fischer says the event continues to be swamped with attendance.

Santa will finish his round of visits on the 20th, just in time to get in gear for Christmas.
