NORFOLK, NE -- The Briggs and Barrett Project was planning on crashing a baby shower Saturday, Dec. 12.
But after years of failing to get pregnant, facing complications and more, Megan Marks had to cancel her baby shower because of COVID-19 risks.
Premier Marketing stepped in and set up a drive-by version of the event.
"It means a lot, this is our first baby and we've been through a lot so ... I'm overwhelmed," Marks said.
Melissa West, cofounder of the project, said it was touching not only to help a local family but to see how their supporters came together.
The Briggs and Barrett project was originally created to raise awareness about Sudden Death Syndrome, after the cofounders both lost their sons in 2017 and 2018.
