Man Sentenced For Role In 2019 Pilger Pride Burglary
A Norfolk man has been sentenced for his role in the 2019 burglary of the Pilger Pride convenience store.
STANTON COUNTY - A Northeast Nebraska man has been sentenced to jail for his role in a 2019 burglary in Stanton County.
The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Derrick Haywood of Norfolk was sentenced to 3 to 6 years in prison.
Authorities say Haywood was arrested by the Sheriff's Office last year after an investigation into the break-in of the Pilger Pride convenience store in Pilger.
A co-defendant was previously sentenced for her involvement in the same burglary.
