Kenesaw family loses home in Sunday fire
The homeowners discovered smoke and fire at the back of their house around 6:00 a.m.

KENESAW, Neb. – A central Nebraska home is considered a total loss after a Sunday morning fire.
There were adults, children and pets in the house at the time of the fire discovery, but all were able to safely evacuate. The family is currently staying with relatives.
The homeowners discovered smoke and fire at the back of their house around 6:00 a.m. Efforts to extinguish the fire were fruitless, as the house was fully engulfed in flames by the time the Kenesaw Fire Department arrived on the scene.
Five different fire units responded to the scene. There is no known cause for the fire at this time.
