BLAIR, NEBRASKA - While many businesses sink under the restrictions of a pandemic, one holiday tradition has been untouched.

Although the trees may be disturbed by all the shaking, trimming, and sawing, families can find peace at places like Santa's Woods in Blair. The farm near Metro Nebraska is already seeing a busier year than ever. Nearly 600 families have come to tag some of their 30,000 trees.

Two kid sisters, Eva and Nola, said they were overwhelmed with all the choices. The farm offers purple trees, big trees, fluffy trees, and even teeny tiny ones.

Farm manager Scott Lund said part of the reason they've seen so much business might be that people are avoiding crowds and coming sooner.

If that's the case, he advises you choose a weekend other than Thanksgiving one coming up.

"Bundle up, don't wear shorts," he also advised.

Santa's Woods is located at  3764 NE-133, Blair, NE 68008 with regular hours of operation being  9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
