Two deaths reported in latest Panhandle Public Health COVID-19 briefing
Health officials continue to provide updates to COVID-19 in the region during its latest briefing Thursday.
Panhandle Public Health officials confirmed two COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday, bringing the region's total to 11.
Two women, both from Scotts Bluff County have passed away. One was in her 80s and the other in her 90s.
Officials also announced 62 new cases and 26 recoveries on Thursday.
A breakdown of the new cases is as follows:
- 18 in Scotts Bluff County
- 15 in Dawes County
- 12 in Box Butte County
- 6 in Kimball County
- 5 in Sheridan County
- 4 in Cheyenne County
- 1 each in Garden and Sioux counties
Here is a breakdown of recoveries announced Thursday:
- 8 in Box Butte County
- 7 in Scotts Bluff County
- 3 in Dawes County
- 2 each in Cheyenne, Kimball and Sheridan counties
- 1 each in Grant and Garden Counties
