Columbus Police Arrest Man With Multiple Felony Warrants

COLUMBUS - A Columbus man is in jail after police arrested him on multiple felony warrants.

The Columbus Police Department says Tuesday that officers received information on a subject with multiple felony warrants in the area. The subject was identified as 30-year-old Caleb Blomberg.

Columbus Police say they had also received multiple reports that Blomberg was armed with a handgun. 

As a result, multiple officers, including a CPD K-9, responded to the area in an effort to find Blomberg. 

CPD says at about 1:30 p.m. Blomberg was found with the help of the CPD K-9. Blomberg was arrested and later jailed at the Platte County Detention Center.
