Gering Utility Bill Sparks Questions on a Technical Error

Residents all across Gering, Neb. have taken to social media, showcasing their frustrations when seeing their City of Gering utility bill.

As the summer has ended you may have noticed your bill go up at least $50.00 more or $100.00 more. For some, their bill is showing a suspected technical error of $18,049.31.

Certainly this must be a technical error in the system, however, it is something that has many scrambling and scratching their heads.

Officials have not yet made comment, however most residents feel this will be resolved in a matter of days.
